Individual, Couples and Family Therapist

When working with individuals to foster their growth and change, the whole family often changes. So, you do not need everyone in therapy.  However, it is often very helpful to have different parts of the family unit come in to work together.  This may be specifically important in co-parenting.

Couples therapy is important in order to help partners reconnect with each other. They  may then again feel safe, understood, and important to each other. Once this is done,  the couple can communicate, problem  solve and compromise effectively.

Family Therapy is helpful for all members in the family. All are able to begin to see how they affect each other in significant ways. Interactions are seen as so important and family members are  helped to move towards new ways of being with each other.

Using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy, I help family members to recognize, and change their patterns in order to reconnect and repair their relationships.
